Francesco Subioli // art director and project manager
He began his activity as a freelancer in the various fields of Design founding Studio Random with other colleagues in 1990 and since 2006 Kromosoma Studio. For more than fifteen years he has been dealing with Food Design through the collaboration with food companies, the creation of the first Masters degree in Food Design at an international level with IED Istituto Europeo di Design and the declaration of the ADI Food Design Manifesto. In the field of Design he has participated as a speaker at many conferences and Conferences, he published articles for magazines and newspapers and collaborated with writing books.
Among the major clients with whom he has collaborated as designer and art director: Presidency of the Republic, Public Administration, Lazio Region, Legambiente, Caritas, Enel, Serono, Vodafone, Sigaro Toscano, Monini, Italo train, Eataly, Cinecittà Studios, Airest / Lagardere.
There are many universities with which he has collaborated as a teacher:
IUAV Venice, Federico Secondo University of Naples, IED Roma, Bau University of Rome, Quasar Institute, Pi-Campus, Design Museum Holon Israel, SICHNU University Sichuan China.
He holds institutional roles in ADI and is a member of the scientific committee of Legambiente as a Design expert.

Graphic designer and visual communication consultant. After a very long professional partnership with Random Studio through which Frida Ferraro has personally managed projects for some very important clients such as ENEL S.p.a., Legambiente etc., she has given her support to the planning of several other projects of important trademarks, communication campaign and show installations. She has set up together with Francesco Subioli Kromosoma Studio which she is a partner of and art director.

Aurelio Latella // economist
Aurelio Latella is an Economist with MBA, he has over 20 years of experience in Marketing Design and Communication through leading companies. He has ranged between all market sectors, holding positions of Director, General Manager and Board Director and carrying out Training and Consulting activities for leading organizations. He played a role in the success of start- ups in Italy and abroad, often by designing and managing them. He is a founding partner of Ettore Fieramosca, where he manages the areas relating to innovation, marketing and Consumer Goods.

Aakesson
Marika Aakesson // product designer
Marika Aakesson works to promote sustainable development by using design and design thinking. As a freelance designer she works with companies to develop strategic design projects to increase sustainability and innovation. She is the Product Design Bachelor degree Course coordinator at IED Rome and teaches Design for Sustainable Development. She is part of IED’s Global Goals Jam group. She works with design associations and foundations to promote design at local and global level and is part of the iF design award jurors and she is an executive member of the board of ADI the Italian design association and President for the regional delegation of ADI in Rome.

Stefano Polato // chef
Stefano Polato is a chef specialized in the choice, preparation and conservation of food. In recent years he has prepared food for several space missions, such as that of Samantha Cristoforetti, the Italian astronaut. An expert in molecular kitchen, his mission is to combine cooking and science to allow people to enjoy the true power of food, rather than insert harmful substances into their bodies. Stefano is the owner of Cucina Verticale and chef of DeaMadre Life in Balance.

Antonio Cama // photographer
Antonio Cama (born in Messina in 1975), graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in 2001, began immediately to work as painter and restorer in his hometown.
Having a real passion for photography, he decided to move to Rome in 2003 to attend the European Institute of Design (IED), learning everything about photographic techniques, using analog optical bench, the darkroom, the latest digital systems and photo-editing programs.
In 2006 he began to collaborate with IED Roma.
From 2007 he works as photoeditor for SignDesign – marketing and communication agency – and Livingroome – interior design magazine.
He’s still working for IED Roma as architectural photography teacher and for different agencies in Rome, the city where he lives.

Zhao
Chen Zhao // designer
Chen Zhao studied at the Dalian Industrial University. After graduating he went to Italy and studied at the ISIA Institute. He worked for several Italian and Chinese design companies dealing with graphic and packaging design, daily necessities development products, healthy food promotion, hexibitions design and public facilities. From 2018 the started working at the IED Institute of Roma for the SNU project.
